Nose of "who hid the fruits in this dusty library?" - red cherry juice, forest floor, touch of acid. So elegant. Will we ever be lucky to try another? — 8 years ago
Bright fresh cherry 100% Nebbiolo sipper from Ghemme + Gattinara + surrounding areas. Typically rustic, but not annoyingly so like some other area producers... some forest floor and barnyard, but balanced with violets and star anise and rhubarb. Very enjoyable. — 3 years ago
Top nebbiolo from Ghemme, Piedmont, Italy. Maybe still young, so intense. What a colour!! — 4 years ago
Dark ruby and aromatic with notes of cherry. Ultra smooth. 100% Nebbiolo. 91 — 7 years ago
Not a bad wine for an Italian. Leads with herbal notes, black tea, sour cherry. Very soft and long finish. Medium body. — 7 years ago

I’ve tasted this makers Ghemme before, so u shouldn’t be surprised how much I love this. Yet I still exalt over it’s soulful expression, all earthy & rust iron. And the’16 Italian vintage keeps on giving…. — a year ago
