Holy Smokes! This is crazy whiskey! Roasted corn in a hot caramel spiral with toffee and coffee notes. Unreal organic expressions of gum Arabic, banana cream, cocoanut, linseed oil, sunflower and hazelnut oils, redwoods, cherrywood, lemongrass, sweet leather and cigar box perfumes. Rosemary, bamboo, marinated leather and peppermint oils rise in smoke form to acquiesce to the heat of ephemeral perfection. #Stagg #bourbon #whiskey #lfk #ftw #bestbourbon — 7 years ago

There's a lot to like about this whisky. There's also quite a lot not to like. The intense vanilla, caramel, mocha flavors are delicious and sustain beautifully. However, there isn't the elegance or smoothness of a great whisky. Better than most large production options at a similar price point and a worthy addition to the home bar.

How does anyone not hoard (regular) Sazerac at ~$25?!
Incredibly smooth, great sweet note to the finish. Again, why haven't I not been buying this for years...?
(BTW Kirkland Bourbon at $30 is worth the price of admission, earthy oak note on the palate is quite similar to Buffalo Trace.)
