By the glass. Barb said aromas of Fairy Floss. (Aussies who have been to rural Agricultural Shows will be familiar with Fairy Floss - a sugary whipped confection). Also a note of Lemon and petrol, but oh so young - yet to display its potential. One of the least sweet Ausleses I have ever had. Great refreshment and lively acid. — 6 years ago

Lovely aged Riesling , melon fruit flavor, and fruit-filled nose almost pineapple. Sweet Riesling , having a crisp acidic finish. Still gold in color despite its age. A great value at $19. Perfect with Indian food. — 7 years ago

We came to this after several Grosse Gewachs and I have to say there is something magical about Pradikat wines. I enjoy the dryer styles tremendously but RS adds an element to these wines that highlights their true beauty. Awesome, viscous and old. Just can’t beat it. — 8 years ago

Last time I had one of these was 4 years ago in November 2017. Similar tasting note without the petillance. A very good quaffing dry German Riesling (12.5%ABV). Slatey minerality with yellow peachy notes. Tasted another 18 weeks later on 5th May 2022. Nothing to write home about to be honest. Just a good dry German Riesling quaffer. Notes as above. 88 points. Tasted another one on 28th November 2022 with consistent notes as above. — 4 years ago

From half bottle. Birth year wine. Excellent surprise, this wine is quite precise on the nose with a saline minerality, yellow flowers, orange marmalade, some wax although the wine is quote fresh and not really tasting tired or oxidized in any way. Palette is unfortunately defined by an alcoholic weight (10% on the label) which detracts from the wine’s otherwise great elegance and ethereal nature. Not overly sweet with sufficient though not especially racy acidity. Overall very fun to drink and in a great spot from 375.
