Delightful. Lovely light golden straw colors with just the right amount of fizz. Notes of pear, apple and citrus. — 5 years ago
Very nice example of Sancerre. Well worth it; from Chez Foushee. — 6 years ago
Bright lemon zest, golden apple, pineapple, with secondary shortbread and guava fruit notes. Fruit forward with hints of toast and yeast. Palate hits with soft tropical citrus and orchard fruit, developing into a round mid-palate and driving acidity to finish. Length is above par and evolves. Minerality tingles on the palate. Excellent QPR from #winetext. Happy New Year!! — 6 years ago
Rich and complex with notes of mandarin orange, red cherry, spices and wildflower honey. — 7 years ago
R.H. Coutier Cuvée Tradition Brut Champagne Grand Cru ‘Ambonnay’ NV: Consisting of 80% Pinot Noir & 20% Chardonnay, this champagne offered tremendous flavor, great acidity, low dosage and a long, crisp finish. Elegant notes of apple, peach, lemon zest, cream & toast make this a wonderful celebration choice! Today, Sept 27 concludes the last birthday of the September month for my family (4 of 4). Happy 4th Birthday to my daughter and to all my September birthday family & friends! Have a great week! Cheers🥂🎂🎉🎁 — 4 years ago

Apricots, honey and a touch of citrus. — 5 years ago
Winery located in Alba, the Piedmont region was founded by its namesake in 1881. Great Grandson, Pio Boffa, continues the tradition of innovative wine making. Ruby with dried red fruit aromas and herb floral scents. On the palate sour cherry & raspberry, cinnamon, toasty nuts, licorice and herb notes. Full soft tannins bring fruit to lingering finish ending with earthy mineral. Wonderful! — 6 years ago
Dark fruits to tobacco to minty cherry vanilla, complex finish. Solid wine to pair with meats — 7 years ago
Better than I remember from previous bottles. Quite round but still precise, with excellent body and good minerality. Impression of sweetness while still being dry. Nice. — 8 years ago
The bottle gets a 9.0, but I want to give it a 10.0 because the Skurnik portfolio, to an extent, has hit Mississippi! A big moment for the troubled relationship my state seems to have with good European wine. Nice more robust style Gamay. Not particularly my cup of tea, but it tastes damn good tonight. Now it is time to see more than bottom of the bin burgundies around! — 4 years ago
Balanced bit with lots of tension. — 5 years ago
Had this a year+ ago, tried a new batch, noticed label color changed. A big fan of Tawny Ports, especially the 20 year blends are a Fav. Fonseca Port was founded in 1822 and successive generations of the Guimaraens family have upheld the Company’s reputation. Medium amber color with aromas of honey and pronounced nutty notes. On the palate ripe dried fruits with sweet cinnamon spice and oak emerge from the glass. Soft tannins long smooth finish ending with a sweet nutty character. Very nice. — 5 years ago
Lots of cherry. Not complex, but extremely good. — 6 years ago
Good traditional, grenache based ch9, very light/transparent - with a good flavour of garrigue . Easy going — 7 years ago
Estate had prior succession problems & split into 2 with original Clos L'Eglise (Rouchut family) on one side and Clos L'Eglise-Clinet (Mauléon family)on the other. Clos L'Eglise has a wine-producing tradition spread over several centuries. A blend of 80% Merlot & 20% Cab Franc, 100% new oak, wonderful warm aromas of fruit & spice. Cherry & Strawberry flavors, with notes of cinnamon & nice energetic mouthfeel. Firm tight tannins that are beginning to open but should continue to age well. Put on Must Try list — 8 years ago
Really great! Sweet but a touch of dryness and very smooth. Had with caviar & fois gras and a really good match. — 8 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Tried new batch. Lucien Albrecht pioneered Crémant production in 1971 and helped gain an Appellation Contrôlêe for the wine and for Alsace. Pale lemon color, fine bubbles with a light creamy mousse and aromas of fresh stone fruit with biscuit scents. On the palate ripe apple, citrus and peachy flavors with nice mineral tones, dry with vivid acidity. Lingering finish with good balance ending with fruit, slight mineral and yeast tang. Excellent value as a Champagne alternative! Consistent quality. — 4 years ago
