Layers of tropical & citrus fruit accented by ginger notes. The texture is a bit waxy & this adds some good complexity. Acid isn’t pronounced at first, but this opens up to show some vibrancy and freshness. — 6 years ago

Soft. My comparison with the Chilean carmenere is prob unfair given this is 30% Merlot. But it still has that distinctive carmenere taste. Nice fruit. Soft sandy tannins. The Merlot softens this. Very nice wine. — 6 months ago
