All the nutty warmth of a good Savagnin — classic Jura flavors and body. — 2 years ago
This wine is absolutely amazing. It pours into the glass as a deep yellow/gold that sort of looks like Chardonnay that has gone around the bend. It has a vermouth-y nose with a whole bunch of maple, vanilla, and celery (!?!?!). When you taste it, it has absolutely not a trace of sweetness. It’s pretty compact at first, but it opens up into something g completely unexpected and delightfully flavorful with a richness that don’t expect ( and really never find) in a white wine. It’s not like anything I’ve ever had, and I mean that in the best way possible. I hope that I can find it in the States at some point as wines from the Jura aren’t very common. Give it a whirl. It’s not for everyone, but quite different and delicious. — 4 years ago
Hay and honey, scented with mango, lovely — 8 years ago
Pale gold, spicy peach, white pear. Dry, good acidity, ripe peach skin notes with some richness. Medium length, very decent. — 10 years ago
There is minerality on the nose with limestone but there is fruit too: pear and lemon. That's a nice nose and it's quite different from the nose of the 2014 a few weeks back. There is a bit of reduction this time. The palate is great with a very strong acid drive, pear and lemon all along, some spice (white pepper?) a good grip, a nice width, and almost a salty touch toward the end. It's a whole different style than the 2014 (which I clearly preferred) but it's very good nevertheless. And once again, what a bargain! — 4 years ago

It took me a good 8 to 10 years into my wine tasting and discovery journey to start liking and appreciating oxydative wines (sous voile) from jura. But now I like them more and more every time. Something in the mouthfeel which is unmistakable...
The nose is very oxydative with walnuts, bruised apples... The palate is superlative. A huge acid drive, great width, a dusty, buttery mouthfeel, some subtle nutty touches along with apple, before a massive, spherical and buttery mid palate that powers up an extremely long finish with butter, nutty notes and a nice freshness that makes it really great. It's clearly not for everybody but it's very much for me 😅 — 3 months ago
