This is a small 3 acre estate in Paso Robles. The 2012 is 98% Syrah 2% Grenache.

A friend of mine turned me onto this wine last year. Loved the wine… although we both thought it needed a bit of time . It still does! I've decanted this now for 3+ hours. Should've decanted it into a lemonade container🤔
The color in the decanter, looks almost black. In the glass purplish (shitty color description). Boysenberry, black chocolate ,black licorice, spicy, Hershey's chocolate syrup🎯. Snap into a Slim Jim- The whole kit & caboodle. I would let them rest another year or 5 😳. This is a heavyweight contender wine. BIG BOY Syrah.

Parker gave the 12' 95pts. He gave the 13' 97pts. He loves these high alcohol, destroy your palate , in your face wines. AGAIN- Just my opinion. — 10 years ago
