Rich amber in color and a texture closer to olive oil than wine, this is an intense zinger. On the nose orange, peach, lime, ginger, marmalade. A luscious mouthfeel with great intensity and persistence. The all-pervasive sizzle of acidity. The roundness and harmony that is pure eiswein. This is a really gorgeous wine. This bottle feels just a touch less dynamic that the others I’ve tried- a bit less clarity and exuberance to the flavors. It may be nearing the end of its’ most vivacious tasting window but firmly in the ‘doesn’t suck ‘ category
