Much better than my last btl about 1.5 yrs ago. Oak better integrated, but still.char and a touch of pyrazine...which I guess I would call vintage character. Excellent! So so good. Black cherry, currants, leather, burgundian dirt, and tannins are still showing so this has plenty of time left. Decanted for about 45 minutes. This displays the burgundy terroir very well! — 7 years ago

Interesting 4 grape sparkling blend from the Langedoc. Pale pink hue, fine bead and creamy texture. Hints of strawberries, cherries, orange zest, watermelon and floral notes. Lots of minerality. Made in the traditional method (15 months of bottle age). Great value! — 8 years ago

The 2016 Vine Hill Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is a drop dead stunning wine from the Phillips and their talented team of Mike Wolf and Françoise Peschon. This majestic Cabernet bursts opens to seductive aromas of dark currants, blueberries, spices, graphite, iron, violets and a touch of sage all emerging from the glass. Wow. A wonderful nose of blackberry bramble, hence, my favorite Pinot nose.

Wild, ripe strawberry, green pepper, a touch of coriander, some starch, and a hint of lemon zest at the end. This has one of the oddest corks I have ever pulled, with a plastic capsule on one end, and a target, like one see on the bottom of a sale tasting cup, on the other end.. — 6 years ago
