Fruity and delicious perfect with food — 10 years ago
After Alyssa Milano, Barbera was my 2nd true Italian love. This wine rekindled that flame. Flavors of black cherry, currant, with light oak touches. Wonderful food wine, can pair with anything. If you have been longing for a go to weeknight red, look no further big QPR. #winekylecandrink — 10 years ago
Love this rose just to sip in the summer or is great with spicy food. — 11 years ago
Lovely fruit on the palate. Easily drinkable. Not especially complex and no real late palate. Good food wine. — 11 years ago
Rarely can I enjoy a wine as much without food as with food. And I'm not a natural fan of Italian wines so this is a rare surprise. Very well balanced and restrained for an Italian red. Delicious with our roast chicken tonight. Tannins are not to heavy, balanced with earthiness. A great wine to drink long into the evening. — 11 years ago

Finally... the 2013s are ready to drink. Perfect acidity and balance, great with food. Restrained, age-worthy. 14.7% ABV — 9 years ago
Favorite white on weeknight — 10 years ago
There is Dolcetto, and then there is Roagna Dolcetto. I have been drinking this since the 2006 or so vintage and this is the best version yet. Cheap, generous, with snap and juicy dark red fruits. Gulpable with a bowl of pasta, a harmonious pairing with sage spiked lamb bolognese. Only 12% abv!! Back up the truck and drink it right away, this is best fresh and not for aging. #roagna — 10 years ago
My favorite red wine! Plum notes and easy to drink - no food needed! — 10 years ago
Black pepper, red cherries, high acidity and soft tannins. Perfect food wine. — 11 years ago
Delicious finely balanced wine, which requires time to breathe and good food to accompany it. First-class vintage. — 11 years ago
Surprisingly light and fruity. Works well with wide variety of food. — 11 years ago
Perfect accompaniment with Thai food. — 12 years ago
Great with food — 13 years ago
Slightly fuller bodied than most Barbera. Thyme, blueberry, and hints of pepper. Goes amazingly well with food. Try with something rustic like lamb or beef stew. — 10 years ago
Loved this. Great with Italian food — 10 years ago
So pure and food friendly. Bright vibrant and simply delicious. — 11 years ago
Great wine with any Italian food and grilled meats. — 11 years ago
With @Doug Burress burgers, this bottle was magic! Dry, firm and great with food. Tomorrow I buy my case! Thanks for the wine dad! — 11 years ago
This has all the hallmarks of a quality zinfandel, down to the jammy red fruits and pepperish nose. What sets it apart is the first notes I smelled when I stuck my nose in the glass: gorgeous red and purple flowers that offer grace and beauty to an otherwise behemoth of a wine. At 15.9% abv this wine drinks even higher, if you can believe that. Drink with food, but enjoy regardless. — 11 years ago
Bright apple flavors, not too sweet with a light cirrus bite at the end. Perfect accompaniment to spicy Asian food but goes well with Ethiopian or Jamaican also. — 13 years ago
"Odedi"
Purple in color with a wide purplish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, sweet strawberries, plums, wood, licorice, spices, dark chocolates, earth, pencil lead, peppercorn and tobacco.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Smooth with long legs.
Dry on the palate, and fruity with blueberries, cherries, plums, oak, vanilla, spices, licorice, earth, meats, green vegetables, herbs, chocolates and peppercorn.
Nice length on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
What a great Zinfandel from Sonoma County, California. Getting into the drinking range now. Well balanced with nice complexity and interesting acidity.
Good as a sipping wine, all by itself or with food. Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (1 hour).
This is not the jammy Californian Zinfandel one might be used to. Spicy and interesting. I really enjoyed it this time.
This 4 year old is drinking very nicely now. I had this vintage a couple of years ago, and it was not very enjoyable. What a difference a couple of years in the bottle has done...
Could use a few more years to become even better.
