It doesn't matter if the glass is half empty or half full...There is clearly room for more precious barbera!

Deep ruby color with dark berry fruit aromas and spice. On the palate rich cherry and Berry flavors emerge followed by some spice and toasty oak. Vivid acidity, velvet tannins and mineral it hits on the medium finish. The 2012 was somewhat bigger than the 2011. This is a great value!

Strong fruit that hints at acidity on the nose. Pairs nicely with pizza and is more tasty with food than alone. My first taste of Barbera!

Slightly fuller bodied than most Barbera. Thyme, blueberry, and hints of pepper. Goes amazingly well with food. Try with something rustic like lamb or beef stew.

Supple barbera. Nice fruit with some structure. Better 30 minutes in.
