At nine years old, this may have been a touch past its prime, but it still drank pretty well. Dark fruit and tobacco were dominant on the nose and palate, with hints of earth, cinnamon, and pepper coming through as well. Dark ruby color with garnet highlights. Aromas of dark berry fruit, eucalyptus, garrigue and dried tobacco. Flavors of blackberry, black plum, roasted herbs and coffee.
