Wow. This is a delicious sparkling wine. It's Pinot Meunier and it's delightful. We chose this as the in the limo, toast before we say "I Do" wine. The fact sheet reports that the Pinot Meunier grapes are manually harvested from a 35-yo vineyard in Champagne, FR. It's produced using a slow 16° alcoholic fermentation, without malolactic fermentation, filtering, and clarification, then it spends 4 years in the cellars. They also use thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. All of this contributes to a not-overly bready/cakey taste, which I do not generally like. This is a really special wine that I can't wait to celebrate with! — 3 years ago

Upon nosing the wine, one is immediately greeted by a bouquet that is nothing short of enchanting. Plum and blackcurrant aromas intertwine with delicate notes of violet, cedar, and vanilla, creating a symphony of scents. Nose has partially oxidized red apple peel, lightly buttered & toasted brioche, moist limestone gravel and day old lemon zest.
Palate has red apple, lemon, dried cherry, lemon pith, (light) dried strawberry with a rich and long finish. Oak aging is not obtuse, but subdued and complimentary. What a great bottle, still young with years ahead!
Dosage 3.6G/L | Bottled 31 March 2014 | Bottle No. 720/1004
100% Pinot Meunier | 100% Damery fruit | 100% Oak-aged (Damery sourced oak)

So good. This Muenier heavy blend is stunning. Bready, yeasty, brioche and mineral nose as well with faint raspberry fruitcake. Really aromatic. Palate is juicy and structured with terrific sap and purity. So clean and focused yet also wild, feral and fun. Wonderful. — 6 years ago
Really great - rich character with lots of acidity. Has a baked apple, lemon and brioche thing going on. — 7 years ago
2018 green apple, lemon and slight stone. Very nice. — 3 years ago
Yeah, what a wine. Full ripe tropical fruits, creamy vanilla with a light hint of caramel sweetness. Orange zest bitters. Quite sweet but just enough citrus sour to prevent it from becoming too thick. Mached excellent with the spicy lintal coconut dal for diner. But standalone it is even better. — 4 years ago
