Baby’s 1st parcela unica and gotta say, it delivered! I like the Envinate Lousas wines—they’re always pretty good but usually a bit green and not profundo imo. This one started that way but as it opened, the high acid rolled off to reveal an extremely terroir driven wine, ripping w tension and minerality. The Lousas mencias usually give fancy n rhone vibes to me (i.e. entry level jamet), but Seoane had more of a juicy mineral burg thing going on (think Irancy) than a meaty rock thing. The bride observed wisely that this wine tasted very mineral and oceanic, but more like a seaside cliff than a briny beach. — 8 months ago

Quite light ruby garnet with wide watery garnet rim . Quite herbal at first with degraded red fruit and with a spicy , old wood note . Quite light on the palate strawberry fruit , herbal tinges , degraded fruits . Ok finish , light tannins . Would drink this over the next couple of years. Quite interesting and refreshing. — 6 months ago
Delicious. Love envinate — 3 years ago
Medium deep ruby garnet with reasonably wide garnet rim . Quite aromática with spiced dark cherry , wild strawberry , cacau touches , fresh herbs also . On the palate quite ripe cherry fruit , with quite refreshing acidity , slightly chewy tannins with a bitter touch on the ok finish . Drink now and over the next 3-5 years — 6 months ago
The last and probably the best bottle from a lot of four purchased from our local importer. There was quite a bit of bottle variation in our Malaysian importer’s 19’ Envinate release - the Migan’s and Palo Blanco’s were quite the rollercoaster ride - but the Vinas de Aldea seemed to have gotten the good side of the container. Like the last bottle, this was full of floral elegance and tangy energy. Super complex aromas of violets, ripe cherries, sweet herbs, pepper, and a touch of coffee and flint. All finesse on the palate, but has depth too. Sweet red fruits, bittersweet herbs, umeshu, and an absolutely lovely, Mosel-esque slatey minerality; finishing sharp with grippy, chalky tannins. For me it was firmly in that red kabinett territory, and downright perfect with our fatty Angus picanha. Loved it! — 7 months ago
Lemon, flinty, bright, and a slightly saltish finish. Delish! Wish I had more — 2 years ago
Lovely wine, good tannins, fresh fruits. Tasted stemmy probably because of the slightly underripe grapes. Thought of Envinate but not comparable, however for the price, this one is really good. — 3 years ago
Wow, such a stunning wine. Super juicy northern rhone vibe. — 4 years ago
Pale magenta; medium plus intensity aromas of delicate red fruits and earthy mushrooms, red currant, cranberry, wet leaves, funk; dry, medium acid, medium minus tannins, medium alcohol, light bodied, medium plus intensity flavors of perfumed red fruits and mushroomy wet earth; medium finish, very complex, well balanced and elegant, outstanding — 5 years ago

Lemon bouquet, dry with light acidity, nice mineral quality with a smooth finish. A bit sour if drunk alone, almost like a funky Orange wine, but paired very well immediately with a light marinated fish and vegetable course. — 5 months ago
