Opened for an hour before drinking. Really bright red fruit. Loved it. — 9 months ago
Emma & Christian Sorine - Santenay vieilles vignes 2018.
Very nice nose of cherry, rose petals, hay, vanilla and tiny bit of oak. This is very subtle and nice. The palate is model of balance, strong acid backbone, very wide palate with cherry notes and a floral thing if that's even possible to taste, a teeny tiny touch of oak, a soft and delicate mouthfeel that shivers nicely in mid palate to the rhythm of the tannins. The finish is salivating with cherry, those nice oaky notes, a persisting tannins layer and a crisp, almost fresh everlasting note. This is truly a great effort. I didn't expect it to be on that level. — 3 years ago
True to the tasting notes, very citrusy with a strong passion fruit flavor. A bit more tart than other more fruity New Zealand Whites. — 2 months ago
Popped and poured; no formal notes. Served alongside our dinner of a simple pasta dish: spaghetti all’arrabbiata. The 2013 CC Riserva from Casa Emma is redolent of gorgeous black cherry, raspberries, bergamot, dried green herbs, espresso, a touch of leather and subtle spices. Stout structure with tannin still firm and acid ideal for food. Long, dry and sublime finish. Every time I drink these wines from Casa Emma, I fall deeper in love. Drink now through 2033+. — 2 years ago
Sue and I really like this, as we do their Dry Reisling — 5 months ago
Sue and I really like this dry Riesling. $5.99 at Trader Joe’s — 5 months ago
Color of dense egg white. Nose of ripe tropical fruits, such as apple, pineapple, a bit mango and strawberry, a bit salty mineral, and a touch of honey note. Taste is a nice mix of acidity with sweetness, honey, citrus, grapefruit, and rind. Nice fruity dance. Aftertaste shows some more mango and a bit bubbly. Clean and tasty. — 10 months ago
Needs time to open up for the pyrazines to integrate but this is a very pretty North American Cab Franc. Certainly Loire-inspired. — 3 years ago

Very classic Chianti Classico. Ripe but slightly sour cherry and intense gravelly minerality on the nose. Savory, lean, and intense in the mouth. Aggressive acids. Will actually age nicely for a few more years but nice with pasta and meatballs right now.
UPDATE: Over the course a several hours, the fruit and weight of this wine filled out progressively. It clearly will age nicely for the next few years, at minimum. Upping score from 9.0 to 9.2 — a month ago
