Interesting bottle of Oloroso from the Lustau Almacenista bottlings, intense notes of dates and walnuts, while being bone dry, but it really comes to the fore with a bit of tapas, which softens and sweetens the sherry. Highly complex and fantastic to drink. — 7 years ago
What a fantastic sherry. A rich full texture, crushed hazelnuts that lingers on the finish. My favourite oloroso to date for the price — 7 years ago

This is really good. A little sour with espresso bitterness, but a cashmere mouthfeel and nice lingering finish. Not a ton of fruit, gives the aroma of an older wine despite being a youngish vintage. — 5 years ago

Pale nut-brown. Dry, burnt sugar and vanilla, piercing acidity. Fabulous. — 7 years ago
I think this is a truly underrated and magnificent Sherry. Yes it's NV ... But drinks like a champ! — 9 years ago

2020/4 as an aperitif with mussels, and with feijoada, Basque-style roast pork, etc.
This bottle was particularly woody and dry, but still with that caramel depth. A little rancid but not too much. — 4 years ago
