A food-friendly Godello — 7 months ago
Wow. Deep dark ruby. Blackberry, currants, cacao, wonderful nose. High tannins not gripping. Medium light body!! Strange. Haha. — 6 months ago
Deep garnet with a tawny rim. A savoury earthy mushroom note coming through - also balsamic notes. Fading red cherry on the palate. An excellent Brunello from a good vintage, travelling well at 15 years. A fabulous food wine with homemade fettuccine. I will probably drink my last bottle in 2027/28 although I have a drinking window through to the early 2030s. — a month ago
Very light, soft acid — 5 months ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits, flinty spice, floral and oak notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum with notes of espresso, cacao and licorice wrapped in oak. Firm tannins, great old world balance with acidity, full body, long finish ends with fruit, oak, spice, and earthy mineral character. — 6 months ago
Worth all the accolades it receives. Dry, long, complex. — 2 months ago
Complex, rich, dry — 2 months ago
Full-bodied, yet not too heavy, with a well-balanced taste. I would consider buying it again. — 6 months ago
