The Eyrie Vineyards, Pinot Gris, from the Dundee Hills of Oregon. Vintage 2017. ABV 12.5%.
Bright citrus and tart melon and cantaloupe notes with some salinity and wet stone influences. Very refreshing and youthful.
Easy to pair with food, we have paired it with roasted bok choy, aubergine, and brown jasmine rice. It goes nicely and doesn’t compete with the tamari and sesame flavors. — 6 years ago

A bit more nuanced and subtle than prior vintages. May have to do with the youth of the wine. — 8 years ago
Impressive from our Oregon trip last year! 2013 is cooler vintage and this wine had density and depth of volcanic minerality. — 9 years ago

Visited Mo at his kitchen tasting room on his vineyard property this spring. What an experience and what a wine this is. 2013 Willamette at its very finest. Pinot, Pinot, Pinot. — 10 years ago

Bought from winery 4/25 $51. Another great Pinot from PG. A little tart at first but mellowed once aired. Very smooth. — a year ago

This is hands down my favorite rose to current. It is smooth, clean and fruity, not not overly sweet. A perfect balance and wonderful chilled or room temperature. — 7 years ago

Lots of red fruit — raspberry, dark cherry — plus blackberry underneath. Vanilla and cola notes, along with some forest floor earthiness. Easy to drink 7 years in. More fruit forward than other vintages I’ve had. Quite good. — 3 years ago

The 2022 Cameron Winery “Dundee Hills” Pinot Noir is a fun-loving, juicy example of Pinot Noir from Oregon’s renown Dundee Hills appellation just within Yamhill County. While openly expressive, youthful and playful; there’s a surprisingly serious amount of depth and character to be found within it. While its brother from Cameron (“Ribbon Ridge”) is much more of an earthy, classically “Burgundian” representation of the variety- the Dundee Hills - the latter is a remarkly playful and light-footed example of how much fun the wines from this grape can produce. — 10 months ago
