2016 Leo Steen Chenin Blanc, sandy Loamy soil, high natural acidity. Aged in steel tanks followed by 4 mos of barrel aging in neutral oak. — 8 years ago
Good acidity makes this very clean tasting with notes of pear, nectarines and perfume. I think a little sweetness would make this more complex and interesting, but overall I like this wine. — 9 years ago
Very good GSM blend — 10 years ago
Beautiful fruit taste combined with dry instantly, long lingering finish on the tongue that is sweet and savory. One if my favorites for sure. — 11 years ago
Very well balanced. Excellent without food, but stood up to braised short ribs and really savory dishes very well. — 12 years ago
2024 vintage. Wow delicious. Just off dry enough. Luscious ripe apricots. Georgia peaches. Nice finish. — a year ago

I love Rhone roses!! Crisp and bright with light berry flavors — 12 years ago
Aroma is woody. Long barrel aging. Lots of cocoa and vanilla with those lovely tobacco, pepper, and a kiss of smoke. Then the fruit aromas kick in with plum and currant. Definitely more of a medium body and a stronger acidity with a nice oak tannic finish. Of the more moderate body zins the heavy oak makes this one more favorite. — a year ago
Very well balanced semi-dry. Has the zesty, moderate acidity of a dry Riesling to show off minerally and lime zest notes. Finishes sweet without being cloying. — a year ago
I could drink this shit forever, it has a sexy marriage of minerality and acidity. I’m getting green apple, white peach, some lime. Also the suggestion of pizza dough and something savory like mushroom (just me???) — 3 years ago
Dry, but not flinty, with a touch of fruit and a lot of minerality. Peach, apricot, apple, and honey. Light and crisp! — 5 years ago
My favorite Syrah. Vanilla, baked red fruit, baking spices, and soft finish. Simply the best! — 8 years ago
