Quite deep still clinging to ruby with a wide quite garnet rim. On the nose touches of sous bois , spice , red fruits , cherry , raspberry and strawberry , porcini . On the palate quite rich and rounded with sweet black cherry , fresh strawberry, raspberry , very good acidity and rounded but quite grippy tannins . In a lovely spot now but will go further , for now and over the next 10 years. — 4 months ago

Nice Bourgogne, even 2017 but drinking nicely! — 3 years ago
Substantially above a tasting that included more prestigious appellations and more expensive bottles, all in the same region and all in chenin blanc. Best VfM of a very enjoyable tasting. Nice balance and yet a subtle acidity leaving much to hope for latter years. Drink some, keep some. — 4 years ago

Delicate but well balanced. Great wine from Marsannay area. Definitely good value — a year ago
The 2012 Cathiard Aux Reignots (along with Malconsorts and Petits Monts, my favorite 1er cru Vosne vineyard), is much more masculine and dark fruited than the MG. Really a great side by side. There is some reduction and prevalent new oak, but there is just such depth and structure to this wine and it’s destined to live for the long haul. But unlike how reticent many 12’s can be right now, as the reduction dissipates, it offers a great deal of pleasure. Reignots is really a special vineyard. — 3 years ago

Intense & rich but mineral and refreshing. Great value for money in the grand scheme of things. Very drinkable ! — 3 months ago
