2014 vintage. Seems more refined than the 2013 vintage, but I drank this during a brunch with great company in the best Lebanese restaurant in Paris (Qasti by Michelin-starred chef Alan Geeam who opened this highly recommended Lebanese bistro last year, aiming to revisit his native cuisine), so don't take my word for it! In any case it's a highly enjoyable wine. — 3 years ago
Big ripe fruit, vanilla, snappy acid. Lovely mid weight Chardonnay, young for sure but I can dig it. — 4 years ago
Crisp acidity, lemony, not bitter. Firm and fresh, not oaky or buttery. Drink now to Fall 2021. — 5 years ago
Belle fraîcheur, c’est citronné, avec un peu de gras, bel équilibre ça descend tout seul — 6 years ago
A great vintage and stupidly good with Hedy’s Melted Racklette Confit Potatoes with smoked olive oil. What a pair!!!
If you enjoy this young, over chill and decant one hour. It needs it and it vastly improves.
Hedy is our good friend and is a chef who would earn 1-2 Michelin Stars should she choose to open a restaurant but, wishes not to do. Check out Hedy’s Pop Up Dinner business @plate&bottle on Facebook.

This was the Champagne I selected for our Plate & Bottle dinner last weekend to pair with the cheese and apps reception. Appetizers & cheese were Gougeres with Gruyere and Cherry Mostarda. Summer Spoons with Melon, Basil, Tomato, Whipped Burrata. Caviar Cheesecake with Smoked Salmon.
Not only is this Champagne beyond serviceable, the people I’ve had it with need to stop being surprised how good it is each time we open it, including me. In addition to being very good, it prices at an incredible value. You’ll be hard pressed (next to impossible) to find a better Champagne for the money.
It has a beautiful body, nice acidity and small bubbles. Peach, apple, pear, lemon, lime, brioche, spring flowers and paired perfectly with the Caviar Cheesecake with Smoked Salmon. Poured from Magnum.
Hedy, our friend & Chef dishes are amazing. If she wanted to open her own restaurant, she would earn at least a Michelin Star and perhaps two. You can find her on FB @Plate&Bottle If you live in the Bay Area a must experience! — 7 years ago

Gorgo San Michelin Custoza DOC 2020: Aromatic. Fruity. Fresh. Balanced acidity with apple, peach & citrus flavors and a great mineral finish. Consisting of Riesling, Cortese & Garganega, this crisp Northern Italian white blend is the perfect option for any outside summer dining plans. Great week to all! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago
Fantastic Priorat, harvested during fire near by, the wine was very smoky and so charming, needs more! Good wine pairing at Ricard Camarena, Valencia ** Michelin🙏😋 — 6 years ago

This could be a 10 in a 2-3 years from now. Tasted this in the barrel at the winery and now in the bottle. Classic Muschelkalk and E&M. My 13th vintage. Unbelievably drinkable - addictive. Unspitable. Dark cherries, black currant jam, hint orange blossoms. In the glass potpourri of herbs wild black forest oregano driven, morello and dark cherries, crushed marble, hint licorice. Like most E&M wines a unicorn wine and unlike any you have ever tasted. I feel sorry for the Michelin Restaurants who do not have this on their wine list. — 2 years ago
