My last bottle of the 2020, one of the riper versions I’ve had of this consistently excellent cuvée. Such deeply ripe gooseberry fruit that it crosses over into tropical. But there’s loads of freshness in the form of limestoney mineral scents. Ripe and deep on entry, but then the sneaky acids and the minerality clamps down, making the finish mouthwatering. Terrific accompaniment to our simple broiled haddock weeknight dinner. — 4 months ago
LOVE. Loire might be my favourite French region.
Some green pepper on the nose. Dangerously drinkable. Food friendly. Went well with spiced ground beef and rice, but this red would be a good companion for red or white meat, Indian dishes, or on its own. — 6 years ago

Perfumed, complex and beguiling. Golden syrup, toffee and nuts, citrus, raisins, Christmas candy—what a symphony! A glass of this delight was how I ended my recent nose-to-tail dinner at St. John Restaurant in Smithfield, London. — 3 months ago

Discovered this little gem at The Ordinary Raw Bar in Charleston, SC. I asked for a dry rose and looked over to see the bartender pouring sparkling. I was not excited. Then I was blown away. Show stopper! Bright and vibrant with a perfect pepper grip. Love love love. — 2 days ago
