well, this was a score. picked up at one of my accounts off a vintage close-out rack. It still has laser acid, and has a rather unctuous palate. Over-ripe white peach with strong mineral/stone elements on the nose. ripe yellow peach, white melon, long long finish. Delicious. — 7 years ago
Delicate fruit, well balanced, smooth finish. — 8 years ago
2022/9/6-7 with wagyu rump steak several ways, etc. This was fresher and less volatile than the bottle of 2015 I had just before it - and more reminiscent of that first, best bottle of 2019 Monthelie we had at Kamakura — 3 years ago
Complex nose, spicey oak, green apple, gorgeous minerality, terrific spice, amazing deep minerality and a stunning expansiveness. Really wonderful white burgundy symphony on the nose. Just unreal. What a nose. Tree bark, dry soil. Just stunning. Wow. Juicy, energetic, luscious, fresh, vital, elegant, complex. Wow. What a wine. Just gorgeous. Maybe best Monthelie Blanc I’ve ever had from Boussey. Explosive and wonderful. Spicey as well. A brilliant bottle. Finish is epic. — 4 years ago

Wow. What a great little bottle of burgundy. Nose of smoke and a hint of fresh cherry. So so so so fresh on the palate. Bright fresh cherry on the palate. So much bright acidity. A hint of balancing bitterness. What a lovely wine. Bought from Fass Selections. Better as it opens. Very nice texture. Some depth. This could have upside in two years. And to think the 15s are better ... third note. Ugh. This is not some random monthelie. After an hour it’s starting to be really good. Ugh. — 8 years ago
Tawny in color. The nose combines bright red fruit with mellow barnyard funk. On the palate is liquid candy, big, bright, deep and perfectly balanced. Tart cherry, strawberry, rhubarb, cola with a moderate acid finish. Near or at its prime, but probably will continue to evolve nicely for another 10 years. — 8 years ago
