Nose is so mineral. Lemony and buttery. But it’s overwhelmingly mineral and scene in the forest. Palate is racy and ripe but has terrific acidity, freshness and cut. Long finish. Juicy and so pure. Really awesome stuff. Wow as this opens the e berg is palpable and the complexity is off the charts. So good. Nice richness on the palate now with a few hours of air. — 2 years ago
A reminder that I should be drinking more Meursault!!!! Thanks to Marshal and being right place right time. — 6 years ago
Palate is so juicy and like icing on a cake. Gorgeous purity and depth and so clean. Wow. Nose of mineral and beeswax, butter and some grilled nuts. Wonderful rich texture and just the right amount of chewy. Dense and packed but so sleek and refined. The purity is stunning. Aromas of wet earth now and sweet oak. What energy and brilliance on the palate. — 6 months ago

Perfect drinking of 2016 vintage in early 2025. Lots of red fruit and good body. $17. — 8 months ago
Lots of complex aromatics that became even more expressive as the bottle warmed up. Some oxidative notes mixed with bread and flowers. In the mouth this leans to the vinous side. Acid driven which allows it to be consumed through out the meal. Just a hint of bitterness on the finish — 2 years ago

Very nice Southern Rhône red from Stephane Vedeau, ex-footballer. 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. 14.5% abv. Bold and big on flavor, but super fresh and precisely balanced. Vibrant red fruit with Mediterranean herbs. Just the right amount of tannins, and a very long finish, ending with dried berries and grass. Really sticks around. I’m surprised the overall Delectable ratings aren’t higher. This is great, and still very affordable for the quality. Paired with Byrd’s Eye View on 180g vinyl (Blue Note Tone Poet repress). — 6 months ago
Really stunning wine. Maybe best one ever and I have had everyone since 14. Nose is dripping with terror, deep forest, rain soaked moss, light sweet wood, burst of minerals and some green apple skins. But so stunningly pure. Palate is rich and ripe but so pure and juicy. Elegant and deep with a lovely opulence and wonderful freshness and lift. Impressive finish. Such an airy yet dense wine. Just glorious. — 9 months ago
