Something a bit funny here. A hint of melon. Lemon and limpid lime and rocks. Good, but lacks a bit of the punch and the jolt of acid you’d expect at this age. — 6 years ago

Les Chantreries - Chateau de Pommard -2001 : magnum . Liquoreux , charpenté, gros caractère, un peu moins gouleyant, touche d’acidité légère. Un bonheur. Joyeux noel. — 5 years ago

minerals, clean on nose
-creamier finish once open, more lemon curd but still very bright, minerality
-very complex, with more time getting more sugars and honey — 3 years ago
Reduction, slighty sulphuric, flinty smoke. On the 2nd day it opened up with red apples and lemonpeel, still some flint and wet stones, very tight and fresh style. Minerality like drinking a quarry. Amazing value. — 6 years ago
