Happy New Year Delectable!
Double decant and pour. A splendid tawny red color. On the nose: dark fruit, cigar ash, cedar, smoked meat, pencil shavings, mint. Taste: soft, silky, elegant, still fresh wine with dark red fruit, worn leather, graphite, loamy soil, spiced herbs, minty black tea and a dry medium finish. YUM! What a fun wine to end 2024 with. A wine bought at auction, and a cork which was not in the best shape, so not sure if this is a true representation of where this wine is at.

3.0. A passable Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, but with a somewhat dull taste. On sale for $10.99, regularly $13.99. — 6 months ago
This is great! I love the sparkling wine like taste. Went down fast. Would def. Have again. Drank with tandoori chicken, 4 bean salad, and collard greens. — 3 years ago
Color - dark purple garnet. A bold expressive funky perfume fruit nose so classic of Cayuse with mineral-meat, smokey and mint notes lingering with a vanilla toast scent. Juicy and elegant; rich with dark plum-cherry flavors intertwined with a smokey soil bacon bitters taste—the mineral-iron characteristics follow with a tobacco long finish. Looking forward to seeing how the flavors change with different foods and as the wine opens up. Bionic Frog is favorite and definitely a wine to try and store in your cellar. A treat to taste a wine this old. Silky smooth body with flavors dominated by dedicated fruit - primarily fig. — 6 years ago
While not as intense as on release this is no where near a shrinking violet. The nose is starting to strut with scents of apple , brioche and nuts. That first taste still makes you recoil and salivate. Lemons , limes , biscuits, and a touch of butterscotch. Very long finish . Developing into everything I hoped for. — 4 months ago
Red fruits, black plum, oak, tobacco, smoke, leather, excellent balance. A little too soft for my taste — 5 months ago
Without doubt the greatest sticky I’ve ever tasted. I nosed it for 30 mins, it was so clear and bright with tropical fruit and light stony minerality. The apricot and mango were lifted over my palate by actual angels who may’ve swiped a taste on the brief journey. Wish I could’ve sat up with a last glass all night, thank you Lenny. 🙏🏼 — 6 months ago
Nice taste, nice price! — 4 years ago
Truly an elegant expression from aged Napa wine. The notes of cedar and cigar box coupled with some mushroom and earth tones dominate. On the taste, the rich mouthfeels steel shows some fruit notes with deep blueberry and plum notes. I REALLY LIKE THIS WINE! And am glad to still have this in my cellar... — 5 years ago
For the price, this is a surpassingly good red blend. Full taste, jam, blackberry, rich. Very nice! — 6 years ago
Very great nose. Had to air it quite a bit to taste the richness. Happy 2025 — 4 months ago

Pale lemon in color with a yellow tint.
Strong nose of citrus, vanilla, oak, butter, spices, melons, red apples and lemons.
Full bodied, bold and buttery, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with lemons, grapefruits, apples, pears, almonds, pineapples, oak, vanilla, spices, sea salt, minerals and white pepper.
Long finish with tangy limes.
This is a great Chardonnay from Carneros, California. Buttery and bold and not too oaky, even for my taste.
Very smooth and enjoyable by itself or with food. Rich and extracted.
