Gorgeous wine with garrigue, violet, smoky meat, wild strawberries, cloves, lavender, bay leaf and leather. This is so elegant already and will be even better balanced with a bit more time in bottle. Great examples of Southern Rhône grenache. Very enjoyable already. — 3 years ago
Quite pleasant with sautéed chicken and pasta ($15) — 5 years ago
Good cdp, this 2014 is a lighter cuvee, others commented it is burgundian in style and I agree.
Nice raspberry palate, minerality with harmonized garrigue, good tannins. Great complement to food, it's a better wine with food. The garrigue blew off day 2-3 which I miss. A PNP is OK with this wine. — 7 years ago
Dark cherry and some raised high toned notes. Garrigue, plum, blood, iron, bright red cherry. Lithe and toned and fresh. Lovely and supple. Very good — 2 years ago
Had this on Sunday with Roast Pork which was a great match. 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre, 5% other varieties. Plum, raspberry and garrigue. Prior notes indicated notes of Brett. This bottle might have a small influence but a long way off bandaid and down the sink. I think I was influenced by my fellow judges at the Toowoomba Wine Show judges dinner last year - some of whom delight in picking the smallest shred of Brett and declare the wine blacklisted. I would hate to be a Somm serving these chaps. — 4 years ago
Magnificent showing. Perfect cork and storage, alive and vibrant. Exotic spices, loads of garrigue, white pepper, cinnamon, leather, tobacco, roasted plum and black cherry fruits, almost brandied in a way. Continuing to evolve with meat, smoke, truffle, and warm stones. Warm and redolent. Richness held back by the whole cluster, gravelly tannins that have evolved into very nicely with time. A favorite domaine in CNDP now, but I truly love their use of whole cluster in the old days, last vintage for it I believe. — 4 years ago
Not bad at 16 years old — 5 years ago
Vivid ruby. An exotically perfumed bouquet evokes ripe red and pit fruits, potpourri and garrigue, and an exotic spice note emerges in the glass. Stains the palate with sweet raspberry, cherry and lavender pastille flavors that steadily put on weight with air. Conveys a suave blend of power and finesse and finishes extremely long and floral, with fine-grained tannins lending discreet grip. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, February 2020)

Very yum for $17 at Schneider's — 3 years ago
Well balanced dark fruit and tanins, benefited from some time to breath. — 3 years ago
Always a fav. First taste of 2015 vintage, nice balance for the year, extraction is deft and carries some finesse to it. As usual, complex, layered, full of goutte de terroir. Layers of cherry from crushed to soaked, slight hint of prune, raspberry confiture, game, fur, roast beef, juniper, forest and cedar, pure garrigue, licorice root, ceylon cinnamon, chaparral, powdered sugar, 5 spice, singed tobacco, graphite, bitter cocoa. Still taut, the tannins need time to relax, but I think they will always have persistence in the wine. Ok with me. — 5 years ago
Love this bottle! Will definitely buy more. — 6 years ago
Brambles, garrigue. Lovely already. 2015 is a vintage to go deep on CdP. — 7 years ago

Bought on release and stored at 55 degrees in my cellar since. Old world style, spicy, earthy and true to its name …garrique! Could have easily passed for a well made CNDP. WOW 20 year old Vacqueyras who would have guessed. — 9 months ago
