Oak and fruity aroma. Concentrated. Berry, violet and plum. Good match with BBQ chicken with Japanese source. 2020 @3000, domaine - BBQC, 230701-230704 — 2 years ago
Flinty and complex. — 5 years ago
Full-bodied Pinot with a perfect balance of spice and fruit. One of my favorite wines this year, in this price point. — 5 years ago
Nose of plums, forest floor with fresh fallen flower petals. Taste is of plums, black tea, Forest, raspberry, mushroom. I really like this. Opened up after an hour of pulling cork and really excellent after 2+. — 7 years ago
Minerality, river rocks, salinity, apricot, orchard fruit, grape fruit. Some spice on the palette, nutmeg perhaps. Peach in the finish. High acid, lighter medium body. Beautifully well-balanced and delightful. — 8 years ago
Everything you could want in a village level Côte de Beaune red. Rich, sultry, sappy dark cherry all over the nose. Some gorgeous sous-bois earthiness, a bit of spice. Powerful in the mouth, with a big initial whack of savory cherry and dark minerals. Not super complex but doesn’t skimp. Medium length finish with a little peppery note from the alcohol (14.5%), and decent acids. — 3 years ago
Smells bright and fruity with a bit of floral. Taste is tart but with nice flavors, maybe apricot? Complex and good alone — 5 years ago
Bright cherry fruit, violets, underbrush, med tannins and nice acid. — 8 years ago
Not a bad bottle for #burgundythursday slight hint of black cherry, soy, spices (almost corning spices), meat, leather, chalky dust, barnyard, tannins still fairly noticeable with some resolution and integration still to come. Another decade won't hurt this. — 8 years ago
Exoticism, olive? olive juice, so saline, focused, wow the acid, so unique, Complex, saline, compact and unreal finesse and energy. Terrific purity. Inner mouth aromas. Very saline and complex and just so deep and endless. Finishes clean and so so elegant but slathered with minerals and and so long. — 2 years ago
B&B ? Price
Had w steak. Accessible, good bit/tannins but not over the top, some blue berry undertones.
Likely buy again
,"reds joust spectacularly with the kinds of dishes you think about when there is a cool spring evening that might call for a fire pit— steaks, grilled vegetables, burgers—but the perfect pairing is a rich, slow-cooked Daube de Boeuf, the classic red wine–beef stew of the region." — 2 years ago
Full-bodied, just dry enough, and complexly layered. 80 Pinot Noir, 20 Chardonnay. Disgorged October 29, 2020. — 4 years ago
Very good!! From store on 4th — 5 years ago
The epitome of Grand Cru. I’m transported to year 2007 in Burgundy through smell and taste. I can almost see the Vintners as they work as if I’m an observing time traveler. — 7 years ago

Does not lack acidity. Ripe fruit almost going too far but still enjoyable. — a year ago
