58 Grenache/32 Carginan/10 Syrah...quite beautiful with our mint chimichurri lamb loin roast w/glazed carrots. An inversion for us - more tannin than textural acid...so fun and resolute :) — 6 years ago
Had this about year and half ago. The first harvest at this estate was in 1252. The property is now owned by Bernard Magrez. A blend, 58% Merlot, 38% Cab Sauv & 4% Petit Verdot, aged in 60% new French oak. Deep Ruby with youthful pronounced red/black fruit aromas with spice notes. Blackberry, plum & cherry flavors with tobacco and spice integrated with sweet tannins, ling ending with earthy oak with a mineral tang. Excellent! Needs more time! Tasting Sample! — 6 years ago
The 2008 1522 is another compelling mid-tier wine in the Philipponnat range. Creamy, sensual and inviting, the 2008 is super-expressive today. Bright Chardonnay notes add energy to the Pinot fruit in an effortless, gracious Champagne. Orchard fruit, dried flowers, chamomile and lemon confit all resonate through to the finish. The blend is 58% Pinot Noir (from Aÿ and Verzenay) and 42% Chardonnay (from Cramant). Dosage is 4.25 grams per liter. Disgorged: July, 2018. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2019) — 7 years ago
Delicious, round and mild oaky Italian White. Drank at Franceschetta 58 in Modena — 8 years ago
Glad I've been buying from this Pasos Robles winery for about 10 years now. A Big Boy at 15.6 ABV, decanted 2 hours ahead. Pleasantly not an alcohol bomb. Fantastic nose. Dark dried cherry, dirt, licorice, iron. Very chewy.
80% Paderewski vineyard.
58% Syrah, 18% Mourvedre, 14% Grenache, 10% Petite Sirah. Imaginative blend!
Not my favorite of theirs, but never disappointed. 9.2 — 9 years ago
58% CS, 33% M, 6% PV, 3% CF
Slightly bricked garnet red, compact rim, more red than purple.
Pretty bouquet - red cherry, dried herbal aromas, leather, tobacco, mineral.
The palate is harmonious. Integrated tannin, med plus acidity, dry, medium bodied. Showing a lot of red fruit character, animalistic, floral. Very classic Margaux-esque character.
This wine is at the perfect drinking spot. No need at all to wait. After a solid month of full bodied, extracted Napa Cab, this is a welcome reprieve! 90. — 9 years ago
A blend of 58% Merlot, 39% Cab Sauv & 3% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of fresh red fruit with woodsy spice. On the palate flavors of red plum and cherry with some cacao and licorice notes. This wine shows oak and mineral tones with fine tight tannins and good balance. Long finish with fruit and spice ending. Needs a few years of bottle age. Reasonably price, good value. — 5 years ago

Pale lemon in color with a green hue.
Fruity nose of citrus, limes, lemons, grapefruits, green apples, spices, herbs, minerals, sea salt and white pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium-plus acidity and long legs.
Dry and crispy on the palate with lemons, citrus, green apples, grapefruits, herbs and spices.
Long finish with limes and almonds.
This 3 year old Sauvignon Blanc/ Chardonnay blend is drinking very nicely now. Still nice and crisp, and good for the pool. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Really shows the complexity when not too cold. Better after 30 minutes of airtime and nicer when not very chilled.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a gorgeous day by the pool.
A blend of 58% Sauvignon Blanc and 42% Chardonnay grapes from the Judean Hills region. Kosher. Not Mevushal.

DeLille produces classic styles of Bordeaux, Rhone & Provence wines in the state of Washington. A blend of 58% Merlot, 36% Cab Sauv, 5% Cab Franc & 1% Petit Verdot. Dark Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits with toasty sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with cacao and subtle oak. Soft tannins, vivid acidity, lingering ending with a nice punch of fruit on the finish. — 8 years ago
58 Syrah/28 Grenache/14 Viognier. Girls have decided on margaritas for the game so I rummaged around and found this. A restrained nose for how it hits the palate. Dark berries and spice with a zing of acidity - thanks to the Viognier? Another good one from LB. Go Vikes! — 8 years ago
Easy drinking and great value for a Rhône blend from Central Coast. It’s still a good wine but somehow I don’t enjoy it as much as their 2014 vintage. UPDATE: I left it overnight and it improved significantly. Notes of rye whiskey and grass developed. I also enjoyed it more at a bit lower temperature (58-60F). — 9 years ago
58% Merlot, 32% Cab Franc, 10% Cab Sauvignon. 👍 — 10 years ago
Founded in 1979 by John Shafer, went from riding trains in Chicago to riding a TD-9 tractor in Napa. Blend of 58% Merlot, 26% Cab Sauv & 16% Malbec, aged for 20 mos French oak, despite 15.3% ABV, it’s well balanced. Deep Ruby, beautiful berry fruit aromas, notes of herbs, toasty oak & spice. On the palate flavors of cherry & jammy blackberry with notes of cacao, baking spice & sweet herbs. Fine smooth tannins, long finish ending with fruit & tobacco notes. Great now, will also age for a few years. Nice! — 5 years ago
The 2016 ‘Estate Blend’ combines mainly Syrah (58%) with smaller portions of Mourvedre, Grenache and Tempranillo. Highly fragrant in the glass, the wine delivers white pepper and blackberry cobbler aromatics that mingle with shades of bacon fat and cigar box that all combine seamlessly. Once on the mouth, the wine effortlessly glides across the mid-palate. Dense red and dark fruits mingle with chocolate cake, leather and shades of clove crusted smoked pork belly. Delightful now, the 2016 ‘Estate Blend’ impresses with its serious range and texture. It’ll be sensational to enjoy for at least another decade. Drink 2020-2032- 95 — 6 years ago

Deep ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose with blueberries, raspberries, sweet cherries, earth, vanilla, wood, licorice, vegetables, pencil lead, wet leaves, black tea, dark coffee, tobacco leaf, spices and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with black currants, black plums, oak, vanilla, licorice, herbs, vegetables, spices, peppercorn, tobacco, dark chocolates, beef jerky, earth and cola.
Medium plus in finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is a very enjoyable Rhone blend from Russian River Valley in California. Spicy and fruity with lots of earth notes that makes it interesting.
Nicely balanced with nice complexity and a great mouthfeel. Feels like a blend of Old and New World wine, which is always engaging and pleasant to drink.
Drinking very nicely now, as a five-year-old, and will age nicely in the next 5 years. I really enjoyed the tangy ending.
Good by itself or with food, and needs an hour to open up properly.
After 2 hours of airtime, the nose really opened up and it was so nice to smell on it for a while.
A blend of 58% Grenache 22% Mourvedre, 18% Syrah and 2% Petite Sirah. A small production of only 315 cases produced.
I paired it with Brie cheese and roasted almonds.
14.6% alcohol by volume.

First red wine after the four Sauvignon Blancs, this bottling use to be called the Marlbrook until the first vintage in 2011 under the Estate name. Deep ruby red with dark red berries on the nose, some spices, woody elements and a touch savory. Medium tannins (6.5/10) with a medium to medium plus body. Notes of black currants, twigs and earth. Medium plus to long finish. Drink till 2024.
Made up of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Shiraz, 14% Petit Verdot and 9% Malbec. Aged for 12 months in 50% new French oak. — 8 years ago
First Rosé of the season in Seattle, clocking in with sunshine and 58 degrees 😃. Pretty dark on the eye: rose gold, almost burnt orange. Nose sees minerality, some bright red strawberries and raspberries, red and white flowers abound. Palette sees a healthy does of acid (medium), lots of minerality, more bright red fruits, with long finish that moves slowly across your palette. — 9 years ago

This is a delicious red blend from Washington State. Showing blackberries, coffee, chocolates, vanilla, cedar, earth, light vegetables, licorice, spices and tobacco leaf.
Full bodied with medium acidity. Dry on the palate and very fruity.
Nicely balanced with a great mouthfeel and nice complexity.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. After 90 minutes of airtime, tannins comes out.
Tangy and rich. Spicy and interesting.
Feels like a mix of Bordeaux and a Napa blend. Very interesting and tasty.
Would age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah and 12% Petit Verdot.
