Burgundian classicism combined with the "natural wine" spirit is what this bottle evokes, and more generally Sarnin-Berrux wines. Here we have a Pinot Noir with volume, material, freshness, fine oaky notes very discreet but very well mixed with the primary notes. The texture in the mouth is superb. Superb bottle. I'll be curious to taste with 10 years of aging!

Le classicisme bourguignon associé à l’esprit « vin nature » voilà un peu ce qu’évoque cette bouteille, et plus généralement les vins Sarnin-Berrux. On a ici un Pinot Noir avec du volume, de la matière, de la fraîcheur, de fines notes boisées très discrètes mais très bien mêlées aux notes primaires. La texture en bouche est superbe. Rather dark color. Open nose, elegant melting black cherry bigarot, morello cherries, with floral and herbaceous notes. The mouth is fine with many nuances and finesse. An elegant Brouilly done for aging. it should be delicious in 2.3 years.

The 2019 Sancerre Les Chasseignes has a ripe and open expression. It fills the mouth with a sense of effortlessness, which Stephane Riffault puts down to both the caillottes soil and the ripeness of the vintage. It is in the riper spectrum of Sauvignon aromatics. This wine leaves the variety's green flavors far behind and focuses instead on orchard fruit and almost heads into the realms of tropical fruit, which isn't something you normally associate with Sancerre. Gently refreshing with the caillottes providing a line of chalkiness on the finish. One for the short to medium term due to the vintage's ripe profile. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2021)

Bright salmon pink. Abundant nose of ripe cantaloupe and white flowers. Juicy palate echoes the nose with Royal Anne cherries, fines herbs, and a hint of anise on the lengthy but classically soft finish. Medium plus acidity is kept in check by the flavor profile. Complex as all get out for a Provençal rosè. Enjoy with meals from seafood to light cuts of beef(!) and it will sing! Note : A champagne house that I had not had the opportunity to taste during my trip to Aÿ in Champagne. With its beautiful golden robe, fine bubbles and well present gives us the character of this wine. A charismatic nose of flowers, brioche and citrus fruits. On the palate, a nice balance with a freshness that ends with gourmet flavors. Nice to the palace to have a good time.

Une maison de champagne que je n’avais pas eu l’occasion de déguster lors de mon voyage à Aÿ en Champagne. Avec sa belle robe dorée, des bulles fines et bien présente nous donne le caractère de ce vin. Un nez charismatique de fleurs, brioche et agrumes. En bouche, un bel équilibre avec une fraîcheur qui se conclut sur des saveurs gourmandes. Sympathique au palais pour passer un bon moment.
