Picked this up a few months ago from the state store when I saw Louis Dressner. Seems different from the only other fleurie I’ve had. Lots of earth juice with raspberry. — 3 years ago

Gobs of dark fruit with bright cherry adding lustre to this wonderful wine. — 6 years ago
Hand picked in Lyon, the label lured me into thinking that something magical awaited, a bit disappointed when opened. Plenty of fresh, vibrant fruit, but felt over oaked and missing the finesse of other Beaujolais I’ve had from the region. — 7 years ago
Garnet in color. Intense aroma of red licorice, cranberry, dried cherries, and smoke. Incredible earthy palate that tastes of campfire and unsweetened chocolate. It finishes with very mild tannins and long lingering flavor of earth , like autumn leaves on a forest floor. — 3 years ago

Reception pour at the Jean-Michel Cazes dinner.
On the nose; sweet & sour cherries, strawberries, under ripened tangerines, black cherries, brioche, nice volcanic minerals and red & pink roses.
The body is rich. Sweet & sour cherries, strawberries, under ripened tangerines, black cherries, ripe rhubarb notes, more brioche than the nose, seashells & oysters, nice volcanic minerals and red & pink roses. — 6 years ago

Small grower production…only 900 bottles. All fermented in neutral oak. You sense that as soon as you smell it and definitely on the palate. Slightly bruised pear and apple, apple cider, ginger ale, malt, older mixed citrus-grapefruit dominate, bread dough, yeastiness, crumbled chalk & limestone, sea fossils, saline, mixed withering lilies, round acidity, excellent structure, balance, tension, length and nicely not over polished finish that last minutes and lands on beautiful minerality. As good as it is today, room for improvement going forward. Hold at least three years. @ K&L Champagne tasting. — 6 months ago
