Gorgeous ruby color. A little bit of oak on the nose coupled with some fruit. Blackberries, raspberries, and even some strawberries on the palate. Old French oak that's not overwhelming and adds complexity. Acidity is lower than expected. Not much sugar but not bone dry either. A simple, yet satisfying, light red wine.
