Great bottle! Much better than the 08 — 11 years ago
E ricing on the nose with pulpy stone fruit. Gals a little short in the mouth, too linear and elevated alcohol slightly out of balance pushes slightly towards fruit cocktail territory — 10 months ago
Wet soil, earthy and mushroom. Dark cherry and plum fruit flavors were secondary. Terrific wine. Lived up to the hype — 7 years ago
my ideal color for a rosé. peach, apricot, with a balance of minerality. Has the lightest touch of zest/spice which gives it light grip and a nice medium-long finish — 9 years ago
Cinsault-dominated rose' also containing Grenache, Syrah, and Merlot. Fresh, lively, crisp rose with a bouquet of fresh strawberries. Lightly tangy with a dry finish. Went well with bacon-wrapped shrimp tacos. — 11 years ago
Heavy for a Bandol. Quite good - leathery and spicy. As one reviewer noted, more like a Napa cab, but more going on. Good rec from Lower Falls Wine Shop. — 2 years ago
Strawberries and cream. Dry not sweet. Refreshing. — 3 years ago
beautiful wine, great texture, good fruits and mineral. — 6 years ago
Peach lemonade in the glass. A touch cloudy and gray, but delicate looks. Slightly astringent and hot on the nose. Nectarine pit, cloudberry, and a touch of acetone on the tongue. Almost orange wine like spices and spark. Surprising and lovely. Abso-frickin-ideal for pairing with briny seafood as well as something richer like a Malaysian honey BBQ chicken with mango salsa. — 6 years ago
Bandol rose stands alone! Cranberries, red currant, nectarine, sponge cake, slight white pepper. — 10 years ago
Love this rose. Great reflection of Provence. The guy that sold it to me said, "smells like peaches, tastes like sunshine." — 11 years ago
