Very muted in the nose… hardly anything at first, fresh saltiness, barely a hint of green apple & lemon peel. And yet, fresh & enticing.
And then, on the palate this sings! Simply beautiful! With a touch of roundness & creaminess on the palate but also vibrant acidity, salinity, stony minerality. Ripe yellow apple & lemon. Vibrant, juicy and quite complex. Great depth & length.

Lots of vanilla and oak on the nose, beautiful on the palate with a long delish finish. Much better the second time (although the field was much too broad when we tested the last time). Will look out for other vintages. — 5 years ago

Delish. The critics are right on this one (95 on Wine Spectator). Raspberries a bit of pepper. Somebody said pine, and I’ll buy that. Full bodied wine with a nice flare of tannins and rich finish. — 6 years ago
