Honeyed citrus, wish there was a bit more acid, but paired very well with Indian food — 9 years ago
Definitely needs to open up. Was sweet on the first sip. Significant fruit tones at the outset and got dry as it opened. I would give it a good half hour and drink and enjoy. Solid choice. — 9 years ago
Blanc de Blancs, no dose, l'Eclapart. Wine geek trifecta. Nose is a symphony, wet earth, mineral, salty, tree bark? Fascinating aromas. Palate is dry, forceful, yeasty and tangy. Long and intense. Concentrated and intense.
Day 2 Update - Yeasty somewhat broad and mineral nose. Some brioche as well. Nice. Palate is razor sharp with terrific precision and minerality. Really lovey delineation of flavors. Great. Delicate and complex yet forcefully dry. Incredible. — 9 years ago

So very drinkable. Great wine to just drink, easy down, smooth, no lingering finish. 2011 — 10 years ago
Spicy, dry and bold. Excites the appetite — 12 years ago

One of the very best Syrah I've ever had. Lush and rich with a nice dry finish. Wonderful I'm talking own or with a nice meat or something spicy. I'd get a case if I had the room. The question you should ask yourself is, why would you not want to drink this wine tonight.... — 9 years ago
Awesome. Fruity, but well balanced. — 9 years ago

Deep violet glass with translucent red violet rim. Big deep nose of cassis, licorice, blackberry, black cherry, black plum, raspberry, strawberry, tobacco, licorice, leather, cedar and a hint of vanilla. Velvety smooth full body palate of a slightly sweet cocoa, cassis, the black fruits, coffee, and black pepper. Soft chalky tannins lead to a pleasing slightly dry long finish of leather, toffee and black pepper. Decant for a while to open aromas. Excellent balance and structure make this a very good value at 23.99 USD. — 9 years ago

Wonderful wine that I bought as futures, very balanced, fruit forward Zin — 9 years ago
Paying homage to @David A Lentine, as he constantly raves about this wine, and in our humble opinion, for good reason. It has a slightly cloudy appearance in the glass.
There is a tropical explosion on the palette, such as nectarines, peaches and a hint of pineapples. Bright, tense acidity holds everything together on the mid-palette. Finishes with verve and vitality. A truly stunning SB. — 9 years ago

Electric acidity, crisp and dry, lemon lime citrus, notes of spice, beautiful texture and minerality. — 9 years ago

Dark ruby in color with a purple rim.
Very strong fruity nose with black currants, blackberries, figs, raisins, vanilla, sweet raspberries, smoke, chocolates, mocha, earth, wood, licorice, vinegrete and black pepper.
Full bodied, jammy and rich, with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, strawberries, ripe cranberries, earth, vanilla, licorice, oak, peppercorn and spices.
Long finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries.
A great blend from the house of Michael David. Soft and well balanced, with nice complexity, and a tangy mouth watering finish. Enjoyable by itself, good right out of the bottle, and a little better after an hour.
This 4 year old is drinking very nicely now and will be good in the next few years. I kept it for a couple of years in my cellar, to see if there are any changes, but I don't see a reason for that. Great vintage as it is.
A good sipping wine that will also work well with grilled meats.
A blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, Mourvedre and Grenache.
