A lot going on the nose. Red fruit, black fruit, meat, leather. Would be a good wintertime wine. Too bad they’re sold out at Kermit Lynch. Devin gave it 💯 — 5 years ago

Columbia County 2.0: interesting drinking this day after a German Pinot, as I found them surprisingly related. A fave Beaujo producer’s Morgon, also a cooler tone & elegant. Blackberries & cassis, darker berries and a fine grittiness to integrated tannins. I like this drinking window (6 yrs) but imagine several if not more left. — 3 years ago
Really solid. Polished and silky, but earthy and mineral and rustic too. Held up for days. Structured but not impenetrable; could age, but I didn’t eat the baby. Good work in a sloppy hot year. Bouland deserves more attention; I think he’s surpassing a few of the heirs to the gang. — 5 years ago
Not as deliberately oxidative, but still too oxidative to be Chablis. — 5 months ago
Full-bodied Chablis (Chardonnay), with smooth finish, served with cheese board, at Petit Robert Bistro, South Boston — 7 months ago
Light body and color, but intense fruit. Raspberry, and the tannic character of the pips. Very fresh. — 8 months ago
Matured Chablis. Well integrated, and complex. harmonious texture underlined integrated acidity. — 4 years ago

+1 hour decant(decent chunky/fine sediment). A wonderful dark ruby red color. On the nose: jammy plum/dark cherry, floral, graphite, sandalwood, crushed stone. Taste: drinking great...silky, opulent, balanced wine with blackberry jam, cherry, earth, currants, and a peppery, saline-mineral long dry finish. YUM! — 4 months ago
