A zesty blend of tart raspberry, dusty sage and spiced blood orange wafts up from the 2021 Bull by the Horns. This performs well above its price point, silky and suave with vibrant acidity that energizes its tart black fruits and exotic spice. A cascade of violets and lavender resonate throughout as the 2021 finishes with a classic tug of fine tannins. — 2 years ago
WOTN - I was impressed - besides always being a crowd pleaser this wine always acts like the postman and always delivers
1 hour decant - was not planning to open but we drank the other bottles like thirsty sailors after 90 days on the boat - color has not changed - the smell has gotten even better - the finish was spot on and the taste was impeccable- remarkable- memorable- a true stunner - blue fruits dancing with black and reds fruits - tobacco cassis sweetness from caramel- tamed but striking how this baby keeps growing - drink now if you want but I will not try again for 5 years or more - this Napa cult classic will last 10 years plus and seems to find a way to get better - bravo — 5 years ago
Perfect balance of little tannins, not too sweet or fruity. — 5 months ago
This is Mt. Veeder, Napa- my favorite v. Sat. Wine. Concrete egg ferment and age, hence the name. Mineral and a background of petrol and roses that will reveal with age. — 2 years ago
Old but good. A touch of brown creeping in, but taste has not turned. — 3 years ago
Berry taste but not tart. Very light acidity with an exceptional finish. Delicious wine! — 5 years ago

Really great. Needs about 3 hours of air. So well balanced. A lot of cocoa, blackberry, garden dirt, some tree bark, some chocolate cherries, but very dark, some menthol in the background, long finish, almost coffee and cocoa, some fruits as well. Outstanding! — 10 days ago
