Drinking beautifully. Just what one should expect from a 2013 Barolo from Perno. Color, balance, fruit to tannan, freshness, sipping and strength to food. — 4 years ago
Very rich, needs to breathe a bit — 5 years ago
Since @Keith Crump opened a Rio Sordo I took out a Rabaja (thanks Keith for inspiring me 😁). It just kept me coming back for more. I adore those type of wines that suddenly make me forget about being "concious" what I'm drinking and make me realise it's just good! — 7 years ago

At first I wasn't sure about this but after letting it air out a bit it's pretty good. Has scents of raspberry and cherry. Medium body. Very fruity taste. Paired it with stuffed chicken Marsala. I'm still trying to figure out a Barolo wine. This is my second but much better than the first! — 8 years ago
Village Barbaresco (100% Nebbiolo) from various vineyards - including fruit from the prestigious Ovello, Montestefano and Rio Sordo crus. Perfumed and ethereal, quite fruit-forward on the nose with aromas of cherry, rose petal, pine needles and earthy notes and a whiff of tar. Juicy, slightly rustic on the palate with flavors of crunchy red fruit (cherry, cranberry), licorice. Quite dry, slightly harsh tannins (drinking this very young). High acidity. Pairs great with mushrooms — 4 years ago

Didn't agree with any tasting notes. Thought this one had a lot of sharp, tart fruits. Lemon, green apple.. etc. Love this Chardonnay. — 7 years ago

Shocked to see a Cab from Curran. But they did pretty well for themselves. — 4 years ago
Loved this! Light, dry and mineraly. — 4 years ago
I had the Asili but delectable is not recognizing it. One of the best Barbarerscos is my life — 5 years ago
Rust showing on the rim... Crunchy red berry with hints of VA. Evergreen pine scent and a sultry black cherry round. Chi tea spice and ginger round out the nose. Fresh palate with juicy cherry transitions into mocha flavors. Finishes dry and with a delicious factor. With air this becomes more oxidative. Drink now. — 7 years ago
Half the price of the Conterno at Costco ($36) and a good value. Missing the nicer reductive notes, this Barolo has the distinctive sour cherry, softer tannins, and a touch of raisiny richness. Very good. — 7 years ago
Flinty and lemony. — 8 years ago

Expressive nose of dry cherries, goji, coffee beans and chocolate. Elegance, with many tannins, yet on the sweet side. Good length, good call. — 3 years ago
