Jancis Robinson’s German expert, Michael Schmidt, scored this 19/20. Seriously a world class dry Riesling (13% ABV). No formal notes . Quite deep lemon gold colour , hint of amber . Quite developed on the nose , honey , touch of caramelised peel , dried spice , honey and saffron . On the palate this is fresher with good acidity and caramelised peel , honey , quite good length and balance . Drinking now , wouldn’t leave this too much longer especially in half bottle — 10 months ago
