Tasted at the producer, this is a primeur / pleasure to drink young vintage. 100% Cabernet-Franc. Light purple color, clear and limpid. Raspberry and herbaceous nose. Supple mouth blending raspberry, notes of cedar, cypress.
Slightly acidity, but the typical Touraine mineral structure, reminiscent of slate, pencil lead, or charcoal, bringing a refreshing salivating tension. On salads, aperitif-dinners, cold meats, cheese pastas, it's easy to drink, and pleasant.
— 5 years ago
Sweetness and oak with a fairly dry finish. — 6 years ago
This wine is absolutely amazing. It pours into the glass as a deep yellow/gold that sort of looks like Chardonnay that has gone around the bend. It has a vermouth-y nose with a whole bunch of maple, vanilla, and celery (!?!?!). When you taste it, it has absolutely not a trace of sweetness. It’s pretty compact at first, but it opens up into something g completely unexpected and delightfully flavorful with a richness that don’t expect ( and really never find) in a white wine. It’s not like anything I’ve ever had, and I mean that in the best way possible. I hope that I can find it in the States at some point as wines from the Jura aren’t very common. Give it a whirl. It’s not for everyone, but quite different and delicious. — 6 years ago
Based on previous ratings this benefited from some time. Really nice. Funky in that good, French way. Great fruit. Earthy. Had with a nice fall roasted squash salad. Good night. — 8 years ago
Another free wine courtesy of open bar at a charity event, still would have paid good money for it. A delicious full bodied, tannic Cabernet Sauvignon. Very drinkable both with and without food. — 9 years ago
이촌 한강치킨 세원언니픽. 대통령 트럼프 만찬주. 굉장히 짭짤하다고 해야하나 전혀 시지않고 스무하고 라이트바디에 꽤 괜찮음! — 5 years ago
Fresh batch, nose is clean with notes of grapefruit, guava, slight floral. same notes on palette, fizz is noticeable on pour and becomes non visible. Fine texture. Wine is clear, last pour slightly clouded, may vary by bottle being Fiz Nat (Pet Nat). 12.4% ABV. Super easy sipper. More please! — 6 years ago
Super duper liked it. — 7 years ago
An excellent 2012 Sangiovese from a small winemaker in Glen Ellen (and a former general contractor who retired to make fab wines). We had it at a local restaurant in July 2013 and just had to visit the winery before leaving wine country ( & it was mid morning) and we were impressed...we have been hooked since then. Uncorking this amazing bottle for tonight's dinner is a celebration of over 4 years of great times and a new chapter! — 8 years ago
