A beautiful Chilean Pinot Noir, fragrant, smooth, well balanced, great mouth feel with long legs. A perfect finish to a day of riding the dog sleds. Enjoyed at the Crazy Weed restaurant in Canmore Alberta thank you Shawn for your recommendation so long ago @Shawn Thompson . James Suckling rated this a 93 I’m not that high but still very good Cheers 🍷 — 7 years ago
Wine maker from Gabrio Bini. This is really crazy. Apricot and orange. Love this. — 6 years ago
Legs, 10/10. Cherry, raspberry on the nose. Sorry, supple taste, smooth finish, not too tannic. I love this one! An A+ Cabernet. — 6 years ago
Crazy legs. Heavy blackberry nose. Plum and spice with luscious mouthfeel. Spice and amuse on the finish — 8 years ago
Pitch black in color with crazy legs in the glass. So aromatic! Blackberry, bay leaf, and cedar scents. Milk chocolate, ash, black fruit fill the mid-palate. Big bold wine with firm tannins despite being 7 years old. While an amazing wine now, will be even better in 7-10 years — 6 years ago
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose of blueberries, raspberries, sweet cherries, dried figs, sweet black plums, light earth, light vanilla, wood, licorice, spices, bell pepper, vegetables, dark coffee, cola, pencil lead and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, red currants, oak, tobacco, light herbs, spices, earth, red pepper, mint, light vegetables, dark coffee, diet coke and peppercorn.
Spicy finish with soft tannins, spices and tangy raspberries.
This is a nice surprise from Santa Barbara County in California. This Cabernet Franc is well balanced, and enjoyable as a sipping wine all by itself, and good with food too.
Showing nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel. Spicy and elegant. (If you swish it in the mouth, for a while, it is crazy spicy). Very unique.
I expected much more bell pepper notes, but they were very light, which I liked. Tastes more like a lighter Garnacha blend.
Needed 90 minutes to open up properly and balance itself out, as it's not as tasty right out of the bottle, so give it time...
Will age nicely in the next 3 years.
The bright acidity will make it pair nicely with lamb dishes. I paired it with hard cheeses and crackers.
Aged for 20 months in French Oak barrels (20% new).
13.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

A shorty for a shorty. LOL. Crazy legs. Heavy scents of eucalyptus, dark chocolate, fig and plum. Blew off to baking spice, balsamic, and prunes. Well integrated tannins with a long finish — 6 years ago
