Tasted June 2021: Full bodied but not heavy despite 16% alc. Crystalline maroon color. Tastes smooth and balanced, fruity. — 5 years ago
. 60% Corvinone and 40% Molinara, the grapes were hand harvested and destemmed, and lightly pressed using only free run juice. A short 5 to 6 day maceration, aged in cement tanks. Native yeasts fermentation, no filtering or fining, nothing added save a small sulfites dose for stability. — 6 years ago

A blend of 50% Corvina Veronese, 15% Corvinone, 30% Rondinella & 5% Oseleta. Aromas of dried fruits with savory spice notes. On the palate sweet plum and sweet cherry flavors with pepper & cacao. Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim.
Light nose of blueberries, dried figs, raisins, vanilla, sweet raspberries, tobacco, herbs, wood, earth, chocolates, coffee, vegetables, leather and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with plums, dark cherries, blueberries, wood, cloves, vanilla, spices, espresso, vegetables, earth, wet leaves, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.
Medium plus on the finish with grippy tannins and tangy pomegranates.
This is a young Amarone. Still not fully balanced, but already enjoyable by itself or with food. Showing nice complexity and a great mouthfeel.
I would recommend to let it open for a couple of hours to show the complexity and the big tannins.
Needs 5 to 10 years of additional bottle time, to properly mature and tone down on the tannins.
A Blend of 50% Corvina Veronese, 30% Rondinella, 15% Corvinone and 5% Oseleta. Aged for 3 years in Slovenian oak barrels.
15% alcohol by volume.

Juicy, but not all fruit. Lovely. From Mysa wine. — 6 years ago
Fruity, rounded raisin. Woody nose. Good body. Great to drink. — 7 years ago

Do you want a downturn of this very nice Amarone is that the 14.5 % of alcohol limits the quantity one may drink! So take your time. — 8 years ago
Needs air at this young age but quickly hits its stride. Really fragrant, with zesty, ripe berries, spice, a yeasty, fresh bread note, and mineral-flecked turned gravel. Loads of upfront fruit, but in a dry package with zingy acids. Slight bitter note complements the fruit. So pure tasting and food flexible. Textbook. — 3 years ago
Traditional Northeast Italian blend of Rondinella (20%) Molinara (10%), Corvina (50%) and Corvinone (20%). Dark ruby color. Aromas of red cherry jam, cranberry, baking spices, Forrest Floor and red/purple flowers. Pallet is rich with flavors of cooked cherry fruit, red currants, baking spices, vanilla and black pepper spice. Relatively light in body style with lively acidity. Smooth tannins. It was the right call to drink this one young. Better on the second day. — 4 years ago
A blend of 40% Corvinone, 30% Corvina, 15% Rondinella, remained indigenous grapes derived from 18-acre vineyard. Ruby with with aromas of dried fruits with floral and smoky spice notes. Sixteen grape Veneto blend including twelve red grapes (Corvina, Corvinone, Rhondinella, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Teroldago, Croatina, Oseleta, Sangiovese and Mazzamino) and four white grapes (Garganega, Trebbiano, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay). Dark ruby color with garnet highlights. Aromas of red and black berry fruit with hints of purple flowers and leather. The palate is more cooked black fruit focused (plum, blackberry, black currant) with touches of baking spices, chocolate and vanilla. Nice smoky and mineral notes on the very long finish. For all that’s going on in this wine, it is quite harmonious, fresh tasting and pleasant. Excellent balance and integration. Dense and rich but not over the top. So good! — 2 years ago
