Sette Ponti or "seven bridges," refers to the 7 bridges crossing the Arno River on the road from Arezzo to Florence. Blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cab Sauv & 10% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in new French oak. Went to a tasting, had ‘14 & ‘15 side by side. Very dark enticing red with concentrated aromas of dark fruits & earthy notes. Flavors of cherry & plum with tobacco and spice. Firm but approachable tannins, medium length ending with a bit of spice as the finish builds. Best to drink ‘14 now. Tasting Sample. — 8 years ago
Mmmmm tastes good wine @KP — 8 months ago
Bought this as an afterthought and quite pleased that I did. It's complex and rich, with blackcurrant/plum fruit, cedary oak and soft tannins all on the same page. Great value. — 5 years ago
2018. Initially sweet (55 deg), nice acid and pleasant fruit as it warms. Would buy again — 7 years ago

Delicious Russian River Pinot Noir! — a year ago
30 min decant(little cloudy sediment). A formidable medium garnet color with some bricking. On the nose: perfumed notes of raspberry, vanilla, forest floor, and cedar. Taste: A creamy, juicy, balanced wine with red plum, smoke, touch of blueberry, minerals, earth, spicy vanilla oak, and a medium finish. Sticking pins in my Packers doll and crossing my fingers, let's see what happens. — 4 years ago

2024 vintage. Medium/medium heavy body. Not nearly as brusque/dark-fruited as the excellent 2023 but still deliciously delivers. A tad more initial richness this go round. Price still $15.10 a bottle resto cost. 7.8.26. — 6 days ago
