Well first off the was the 2012 vintage Syrah not merlot. Its a decent wine, good body. Dry finish. The original price I believe is 38 dollars and for that price there are other alternative wines that provide more of an experience. However, if there you can find this wine for the mid 20 dollar range it would be very good price and well worth the money. — 6 years ago

This is excellent Zin. Has plenty of pluck and zip 6 years in. A hint savory and plenty of acid. Thick with a spiced and smoked fruits side. Very tasty bottle of Lake County Zin. Cool climate-ish even with 14.5% ABV. GREAT DEAL at G.O. too. — 2 months ago
