Another star in Rosenthal book but I’m a bit puzzled by the muted enthusiasm on Delectable. Sure, not the last word on complexity but what glory in classic chard & Macon notes. Rich & minerally mouthfeel, balanced. Yeah, for less than 15$ local. So what’s the problem? — 8 years ago
Bright cherry fruit, violets, underbrush, med tannins and nice acid. — 8 years ago

Sabores a frutas silvestres, olores a madera de roble y regaliz. Final largo y muy suave. — 13 years ago
Killer nose of creamy red fruits, palate is deep with minerals, mild acidity and ripe red fruits, all in a white wine. So lovely, oak aging does wonders for this grape.
Last time we had this bottle was in the cellar of C-L, no finer hosts. 100% Pinot Meunièr (2014 fruit), so technically a Blanc de Noirs. This bottle was sealed on 31 May 2015 and bottle number 199 of 1220 produced.
Relaxing by a fire in the chimenea tonight, our first frost was finally this morning. Nice and cool tonight, the warmth of the flames is satisfying. — 7 years ago

Delicious Champagne to finish an 11 course meal at Eleven Madison Park in NYC (2009) — 8 years ago
Very drinkable now. This wine should please the American taste as a fruit forward and pleasant but excellent for the price. A great affordable wine to order while dinning out. — 8 years ago
