Luving Mondavi’s new line of barrel aged wines. A beautiful twist on the same old varietal wines. This merlot is my favorite. I highly recommend the bourbon barrel aged Chardonnay too. — 6 years ago

Earthy aromas and smooth as silk and yet it’s complex. A superior Merlot. — 6 years ago

Cant get tired of this guy — 5 years ago
Balanced but fruit is front and center through to the finish with a soft velvety tongue. The bourbon barrels come through with a deliciously harmonious, and unique surprise. — 6 years ago
More special with a great group of friends. Very good cherry easy tannins. — 7 years ago
Peach, key lime fungus, and some Zotz. Yea, interesting. Myer lemon and lemon zest. Honey finish. — 7 years ago
This wine exceeded expectations. Though the restaurant could have served it much colder (their food was excellent BTW). — 8 years ago
One the nose, lean, ripe, ruby, fruits of blackberries, dark cherries, raspberries and plum. Loamy soils, vanilla and fragrant perfumed florals. The body is medium with dry, silty, soft tannins. The fruits are lean & ripe, and creamy; blackberries, dark cherries, raspberries and plums. Dark, dry, loamy soils, dry stems, soft leather, wood shavings, touch of vanilla, raspberry cola, steeped fruit tea, dark chocolate bar, violets, red florals, good acidity and a lean dry finish. It's a decent wine that will improve but I'm not at all seeing the $200 plus a bottle price point.
