Must have been a brawny lad, but has mellowed into old age. Drinking well now after 20+ yrs

Some classic cab with a bit of age on tap for tonight

Bad cork and over the hill, but still somehow has something. Actually started kicking ass after an hour and a half of air time—a stunning improvement since first opening. Almost certainly our last bottle of wine at Ascot Drive.

A hint of slight currant, dampened only by age, and still producing its keystone ruby color.

Unexpectedly good. 22 years of aging has mellowed this wine with soft and supple tannins, complexity and pleasing finish.

1994 vintage. Still great. Had lost track of it in the cellar.
