Still had some nice life left in it. Maybe a bit past prime but drank really nicely. A treat on New Years. Thanks @Jeremy Gold for sharing! — 8 years ago
More minerally than oaky. Really nice with both grouper and lamb tagliatelle. — 4 months ago
One of the lesser Chardonnay Cuvées from Woodlands after the Chloe. Mild Stone fruit and grapefruit. Some lees work in evidence. Terrific QPR from a good vintage. — 5 years ago
Lovely, crisp honey-apple without too much sweetness. Creamy bubbles. Refreshing . 4/22/2020 had a bottle at home & it was a little flabby. Requires more investigation — 7 years ago
Dujac fans know how great their ‘06’s are, Jeremy Seysses’ first vintage in full control. Aux Combottes, surrounded by Grand Cru’s on all four sides, is terrific in 2006, now fully open and giving wafting an unmistakable Dujac perfume with elegant spice laced red berry fruit, cocoa and Gevrey earth. It’s liquid velvet on the palate, notably impressive for the vintage, with superb balance of fruit character, minerality and fine grained tannic structure. Terrific showing! — 6 months ago
