Dark ruby color. Aromas of black fruit, leather, jalapeño peppers, fresh herbs a touch of barnyard funk. Bright black and red berry/currant fruit on the palate with hints of black licorice, cedar and the aforementioned fresh herbs. Long finish and firm tannins. Quite fresh tasting and elegant. Perfectly aged. I thought I was drinking a light bodied Syrah. Thank you for including this wine in your Cabernet Franc Tasting, Ron B! — 6 months ago
