Decanted. Expected a lot based on other 2017s I've had. On the nose: bright red raspberry, wild strawberry, almost grenache-like ripeness though. On the palate: good acidity, somewhat broad-shouldered with very ripe, glossy red fruit. Leaning a touch sloppy. The 15 and 14 were a lot better. — 2 years ago
Great wine but be aware that it’s still very young. Not a typical Ponzi single vineyard Chardonnay, it’s still strong, greasy, reductive aroma and flavors are reminiscent of many a modern Cote de Beaune. Powerful, complex, detailed, earthy. Decant and aerate if drinking now but better still to cellar at least another 5 years. I’m projecting it will age gracefully for 25 years or more. — 4 years ago
Really great for how young and fresh it is! — 5 years ago
The 2012 Patricia Green Cellars Olenik Pinot Noir. From Chehalem Mountain Newberg, Oregon.
On the nose this had strawberry, stewed plum, licorice, spice, vanilla, forest floor and earth.
On the palate there was cherry, strawberry, mushroom, leather, black tea and undergrowth.
This wine is medium bodied with medium to medium + acidity and medium fine tannins that mive into a medium to long mushroom earthy finish. I hope everyone is well? I just came off a 2 and a half week bought of a head cold. I hope you have had a wonderful weekend. Please have agreat week ahead. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 8 months ago
Wonderful. Enjoyed with steak frites and roasted poussin. Perfect. — 2 years ago
Bright, fresh, peppery, and vibrant. Cherries, red currants, and rhubarb. Thoroughly enjoyable. — 4 years ago
A true Oregon Pinot noir, light bodied, complex, velvety and an absolute delight. — 6 years ago
Summer yum …. Killer gamay noir from Pinot/chard experts. We all need more light bodied summer reds that dance across your palate at cellar temp. Low ABV… light purple, cherry, berry, juicy sweetness with lively acid driving the fruit towards the finish. The bottle was gone too quickly with smash burgers and hand cut fries. Reminder to self: buy more next year, — 2 years ago

I have always been looking for an Oregon Pinot that I liked. This is close. — 4 years ago
Nice fruit with a slight earthy and a medium to full rounded finish. One of the newer wineries in Oregon. You need to check out their quaint little Italian style winery. You’ll love it. — 5 years ago
Cherry, raspberry, strawberry, lemon candy, slate and hints of stone fruit. Great acidity and balance. — 6 years ago

Complex yet delicate. 2015 vintage is in a great spot. Pinot Gris can be interesting and this proves it. — 7 months ago
